In 1885, Lynn Benning entered the general contracting industry and established C.W. Benning and Associates, Inc. in Atchinson, Kansas. We built numerous government, state, and local buildings for the cities of:
Atchison
Kingman
Winfield
Great Bend
Garnett
Emporia
As the turn of the century approached, we found ourselves doing more work in Oklahoma and Salt Lake City in Utah, where one of our best-known projects was the Symns Wholesale House.

Building Post Offices
Throughout the years, the Benning family and C.W. Benning and Associates, Inc. were known for providing construction services for numerous post office buildings from Alabama to Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Our founder, Lynn Benning, acted as the Project Manager/Superintendent for all plumbing and mechanical work. He also supervised the installation of the heating and ventilation systems of each post office building.
Our Company Today
CW Benning Construction opened its offices in El Paso, Texas in 1987. Today, we continue to employ the same visionary thinking that led us into the 20th century.
As we enter the 21st century, we work progressively through the use of modern technology. This mindset helped us become one of the leading construction firms throughout the Southwestern US.
